Which devices can synchronize with Apple Health and Google Fit?

For iOS (Apple Health) users:

  • Apple Watch: Yes. Directly on Apple Health.
  • Google Pixel watch: No.
  • Google Fitbit: No.
  • Samsung Watch: Unlikely. Pairing is possible but most users report that Galaxy Watch app and Samsung Health app don't actually send any health data to Apple Health despise being paired.
  • Huawei Watch: Yes via Huawei Health app.
  • Garmin Watch: Yes via Garmin Connect app.
  • Xiaomi Watch: Yes via Mi Fit app.
  • Polar Watch: Yes via Polar Flow app.

For Android (Google Fit) users:

  • Apple Watch: No.
  • Google Pixel watch: Yes. Directly on Google Fit.
  • Google Fitbit: No.
  • Samsung Watch: No.
  • Huawei Watch: No.
  • Garmin Watch: No.
  • Xiaomi Watch: No.
  • Polar Watch: Yes via Polar Flow / Beat app.

If your smartwatch manufacturer does not allow Apple Health and Google Fit to collect data from your device. You can allow Apple Health and Google Fit to track your steps directly. Remember to bring your phone with you so your steps are counted.
